As Chairman and Founder of Gulf Coast Trading, Mr. Phil E. Mulacek has a proven track record of over 40 years in the global oil and gas and LNG development. He has worked in all aspects of the integrated oil & gas spectrum across the upstream, midstream and downstream in multiple regions including North America, Asia, West Asia, South America and Africa.

Prior to GCT, Mulacek was the founder and former Chairman and CEO of an NYSE listed company InterOil Corporation. Under his tenure, he pioneered the company into a vertically integrated oil and gas company and shepherded it into an NYSE listing with a market capitalization of over US$5.2 billion. He also led the discovery of certified oil reserves in Papua New Guinea, a find which yielded the equivalent of 1.6 billion barrels of oil, an unprecedented feat that remains unsurpassed in Asia.
